A bill to amend title 18 of the United States Code to penalize the obstruction of certain hunts, and for other purposes.
Hunters' Protection Act of 1985 - Amends the Federal criminal code to make it a Federal offense to obstruct or impede the participation of any person in a lawful hunt or hunting season.
Provides for a fine of not more than $500 and/or imprisonment for not longer than 60 days or if violence or the destruction of property occurs a fine of not more than $5,000 and/or imprisonment for not more than five years.
