Amends Federal bankruptcy provisions to require the trustee in a reorganization case to pay until May 15, 1987, health, disability, and life insurance benefits to retired former employees under a program established or maintained by the debtor prior to filing a bankruptcy petition. Provides that this Act shall apply to reorganization cases: (1) in which a plan for reorganization has not been confirmed by the court and in which any such benefit is still being paid on October 2, 1986; and (2) under which an order for relief is entered after such date.
