A bill to establish the Congressional Gold Medal.
Congressional Gold Medal Act - Establishes standards for the award of the Congressional Gold Medal, including that a person: (1) has performed a major achievement; (2) has not received a Medal for the same or similar achievement; (3) be living or, if deceased, shall have been deceased for not less than five years and not more than ten years; and (4) has performed an achievement that represents a lifetime of continuous superior achievements or a single achievement recognized and acclaimed by others in the same field.
