A bill to amend title XIX of the Social Security Act to require State medicaid plans to provide coverage of pregnant women whose income falls below the Federal poverty guidelines.

Amends title XIX (Medicaid) of the Social Security Act to require States to extend coverage to women in need of pregnancy-related medical services whose family income does not exceed the Federal poverty level. Prohibits the application of a resource standard in determining the eligibility of such women.
