Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to provide for posthumous naturalization (effective at the time of death) for an alien killed while on active duty with the armed forces during the Vietnam hostilities (February 28, 1961, through October 15, 1978).
Permits a surviving spouse, parent, son or daughter, or any designee of the Attorney General to file such a naturalization request. Establishes a five-year filing period.
Grants surviving family members special immigrant status.
