A bill to amend chapter 11 of title 18, United States Code, to prohibit any former Member of Congress or former high-level Federal official, or any person who has had a top secret or higher security clearance from representing or advising a foreign government or foreign-government entity in a transaction with, or a matter before, the United States Government.
Allegiance in Government Service Act - Prohibits the following persons from representing or advising a foreign government or foreign-government entity in a transaction with, or matter before, the U.S. Government: (1) a former Member of Congress; (2) a former high-level Federal employee; (3) a former high-ranking member of the uniformed services; (4) a former special Government employee (certain temporary employees); or (5) any person who has had authorized access to top secret classified information.
Establishes criminal penalties for violations of this Act.
Defines and lists employee positions to which this Act applies.
