A bill to establish an Office of Minority Health and ensure that the health concerns of the members of minority groups are national health priorities.
Minority Health Amendments Act - Amends the Public Health Service Act to establish in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health an Office of Minority Health.
Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to assign to such Office projects and demonstrations regarding the health concerns of black, Asian, Hispanic, American Indian, and other minority groups.
Authorizes appropriations for FY 1986 through 1988.
Requires the Secretary to report annually to the President (for submission to the Congress) on the activities of the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion and of the Office of Minority Health.
Declares that the Office of Minority Health established under this Act supersedes the office of Minority Health established by the Secretary in November 1985.
