Social Security Trust Funds Protection Act of 1985 - Amends title II (Old Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance) and title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to permit the Managing Trustees of the Federal Old-Age and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund, Federal Disability Insurance Trust Fund, Federal Hospital Insurance Trust Fund and Federal Supplementary Medical Insurance Trust Fund to prematurely disinvest the funds of obligations, but only to the extent necessary to prevent a shortfall in such funds arising from required disbursements.
