A bill to amend section 3013 of title 18, United States Code, with respect to special assessments on convicted persons, and for other purposes.
Victims of Crime Amendments Act of 1985 - Amends the Federal criminal code to require the court to impose penalty assessments on all persons (and organizations) convicted of infractions and misdemeanors.
Extends for one additional year the deadline for States to spend grants for victim compensation programs.
