A bill entitled, the "Health Care Cost Containment Act of 1985".
Health Care Cost Containment Act of 1984 - Grants an antitrust exemption to health care insurers for the purposes of: (1) acquiring data on health care costs and services; (2) collecting and distributing insurance claims for health care services; and (3) entering into service and cost agreements with health care providers.
Authorizes the Attorney General to investigate such joint activities to determine whether they conform to this Act.
Committee on Judiciary received executive comment from Federal Trade Commission.
