A bill to provide for programs to maintain and develop markets for United States agricultural commodities, and for other purposes.
Agricultural Export Act of 1985 - Amends the Agriculture and Food Act of 1981 to authorize the donation of Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) surpluses to U.S. exporters, processors, and foreign purchasers in order to neutralize the effects of foreign export subsidy programs.
Amends the Food for Peace Act of 1966 to provide intermediate credit for agricultural exports.
Requires the CCC to make specified funds available in FY 1986 for such purposes.
