A concurrent resolution concerning human rights violations in Nicaragua.

Declares that the Congress: (1) is disturbed about the human rights abuses by the Sandinista Government of Nicaragua; (2) calls on the Sandinistas to allow La Prensa and Iglesia to reopen their offices and renew publication without restrictions; (3) urges the Sandinistas to end their persecution of the Catholic Church in Nicaragua and allow religious and political parties to operate freely; and (4) condemns human rights violations by the Government of Nicaragua and calls upon the Sandinistas to allow the exercise of civil liberties by Nicaraguan citizens.
