Expresses the sense of the Congress that the President: (1) is commended for his efforts to assist the Soviet Union in the aftermath of the Chernobyl accident; (2) should continue to offer U.S. assistance; (3) should take appropriate action, in concert with other nations and organizations, to conduct an assessment of the health effects of radiation exposure; and (4) should place the promotion of such international efforts on the agenda of the next U.S.-Soviet summit meeting.
