Commission on Pay Equity

Commission on Pay Equity - Establishes the Commission on Pay Equity which shall: (1) retain a private contractor to conduct a pilot study to determine whether the compensation system for job classes within the legislative branch of Government complies with Federal pay equity laws; (2) establish a comprehensive plan to ensure pay equity if the study shows that wage differentials for men and women exist; and (3) recommend methods to ensure the effective implementation of pay equity laws applicable to the legislative branch and otherwise to ensure pay equity in the legislative branch.

Directs the Commission to submit to Congress appropriate interim reports and a final report within one year after its first meeting. Terminates the Commission 30 days after submission of such final report.

Requires payment of Commission expenses from the contingent fund of the Senate.
