Amends the Federal Supplemental Compensation Act of 1982 to increase the amount established in a Federal supplemental unemployment compensation account with respect to an individual's benefit year.
Increases the number of weeks, during specified types of unemployment periods in a State, for which benefits are payable to an individual under the Federal supplemental unemployment compensation program.
Extends such program payments through weeks beginning on or before September 30, 1983.
Makes conforming changes in the period of eligibility for such program payments and in provisions for agreements with States.
