A bill to establish a comprehensive work program for recipients of aid to families with dependent children, consisting of redirection projects for teenage mothers, supported work programs, and improvement in the work incentive program.
Work Program Reform Act of 1984 - Amends the Social Security Act to establish a work program for recipients of Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC). Provides that such program shall consist of: (1) redirection projects (including job training, family planning, and medical care) for teenage mothers and pregnant teenagers; (2) supported work programs; and (3) revisions of the work incentive programs (WIN).
Authorizes appropriations.
