A bill to enable honey producers and handlers to finance a nationally coordinated research, promotion, and consumer information program designed to expand their markets for honey.
Honey Research, Promotion, and Consumer Information Act - Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to issue and amend honey orders.
Provides for the establishment of: (1) a Honey Board; and (2) a National Honey Nominations Committee to nominate Board members and alternates.
States that such Board shall administer orders, develop plans for research, promotion, and consumer information and finance such activities through producer, importer, and handler assessments. Exempts specified small producers and importers from such assessments.
