Gypsy Moth Control Act of 1984 - Amends the Forest and Rangeland Renewable Resources Research Act of 1978 to direct the Secretary of Agriculture to establish a gypsy moth research program. Gives priority to the development of: (1) biological controls; and (2) appropriate technology for use on non-Federal public and private forest land. Authorizes FY 1985 through 1989 appropriations.
Amends the Cooperative Forestry Assistance Act of 1978 to direct the Secretary to establish a gypsy moth control assistance program to encourage gypsy moth control on non-Federal lands.
Provides for Federal cost-sharing to aid States in: (1) conducting gypsy moth population surveys and; (2) eradication and control efforts, including the provision of technical assistance.
Authorizes FY 1985 through 1994 appropriations.
