A bill to require the Administrator of General Services to notify State and local governments and agencies thereof prior to the disposal of surplus real property.
Real Property Disposal Policy Act of 1984 - Amends the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 to require the Administrator of General Services to notify State and local governments and certain institutions that surplus Federal property is being considered for disposal.
Requires the Administrator to submit to appropriate congressional committees, executive agencies, and local zoning agencies a description of the real property intended for disposal and of the method of disposal.
