A bill to authorize the offer and payment of rewards for information and services concerning terrorist activities.
Anti-Terrorism Rewards Act of 1984 - Authorizes the Secretary of State to offer and pay rewards for information or services that lead or may lead to the appropriate resolution of terrorist activities outside U.S. jurisdiction which are directed against U.S. persons or property. Authorizes the Attorney General to offer and pay rewards for information or services that lead or may lead to the appropriate resolution of terrorist activities within U.S. jurisdiction. Requires the Secretary and Attorney General to proscribe guidelines for such offers and payments. Requires the guidelines to be filed with the appropriate congressional committees. Requires the Secretary and the Attorney General to report semiannually to Congress on all such offers and payments.
Makes Federal, State, and local officers and employees ineligible for such payments. Authorizes appropriations.
