A bill to promote the use of food irradiation as a post-harvest treatment for agricultural commodities, and for other purposes.

Amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to exclude "sources of radiation" from the definition of food additive.

Subjects food irradiation to the same regulations that apply to raw agricultural commodity pesticide use. Exempts existing regulations from such requirements.
