Dairy Farmer Protection Act of 1983 - Amends the Agricultural Act of 1949 to reduce milk price support levels from $13.10 per hundredweight to $11.85 per hundredweight.
Repeals the two 50-cent milk producer assessments.
Amends the Agricultural Adjustment Act, as amended and reenacted by the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937, to set the minimum price for class I (fluid) milk under milk marketing orders at $12.56 per hundredweight.
