Amends the Victim and Witness Protection Act of 1982 to provide that a convicted defendant reimburse any payor of a reward which was offered for information leading to the apprehension, arrest or conviction of the defendant. Limits the payment to $25,000.
Requires the Attorney General to report to Congress within one year on any laws necessary to ensure that a Federal felon repay restitution to the payor of a reward before any profits are received by the felon from the sale of any recollections in regard to the offense committed.
