A bill to amend the Federal-State Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970 to provide that an individual may meet the 20 weeks work requirement during either of their most recent base periods; and to provide that the entitlement for extended compensation shall continue for six months beyond the end of their benefit year.

Amends the Federal-State Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970 to provide that the 20-week work requirement may be met during either of an individual's two most recent base periods, for purposes of eligibility for the extended unemployment compensation program.

Provides that an individual's entitlement to extended compensation which has not been exhausted by the end of such individual's benefit year shall continue for six months subsequent to the end of the benefit year.
