Amends the Federal-State Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970 to provide that the 20-week work requirement may be met during either of an individual's two most recent base periods, for purposes of eligibility for the extended unemployment compensation program.
Provides that an individual's entitlement to extended compensation which has not been exhausted by the end of such individual's benefit year shall continue for six months subsequent to the end of the benefit year.
