Amends title II (Old Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act to provide that the continued payment of disability benefits during the administrative appeal of a disability determination shall end with the earlier of: (1) the month preceding the month in which a decision is made after a hearing or administrative review with respect to such determination, unless a request for a further hearing or administrative review is made within 30 days after the date of such decision; or (2) the month preceding the first month in which no request for such a hearing or administrative review is pending. (Currently, the payment of disability benfits during appeal may be continued only through the earlier of: (1) the month preceding the month in which a decision is made after a hearing; (2) the month preceding the month in which no request for administrative appeal is pending; or (3) June 1984.) Repeals the provision making the authority for continued payment of disability benefits during appeal applicable only to disability determinations made before October 1, 1983.
