A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to provide that support and maintenance furnished a mentally retarded individual living in another person's household shall not constitute income to such individual (and shall not cause his or her benefits to be reduced) under the SSI program.

Amends title XVI (Supplemental Security Income) of the Social Security Act to provide that in the case of a mentally retarded individual, support and maintenance in kind received by such an individual while living in another person's household shall not be considered income to such individual under the SSI program.
