Amends the Federal criminal code in regard to providing or possessing contraband in Federal prison. Makes it a Federal offense for any person to provide an inmate with: (1) a firearm or other destructive device; (2) any weapon or object that may be used as a means to facilitate escape; (3) narcotic drugs; (4) controlled substances; (5) alcoholic beverages; (6) U.S. currency; or (7) any object that threatens the security of such prison or the life, health, and safety of an individual. Prohibits Federal inmates from possessing the above. Establishes penalties based upon the kind of contraband either provided or possessed.
Provides for imprisonment for not more than ten years or a fine of $250,000 for any person who intentionally causes or furthers a riot in a Federal prison.
Imposes a fine of not more than $250,000 or imprisonment for not more than two years for any person who intentionally participates in a prison mutiny.
