A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act and the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 to repeal certain recently enacted provisions which create disincentives to judicial service by retired judicial service by retired justices and judges.
Judicial Service Incentives Restoration Act of 1983 - Amends title II (Old Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act and the Internal Revenue Code to repeal provisions requiring that the salaries of retired Federal justices or judges assigned to active duty be treated as "wages" for purposes of title II.
