Consumers and Dairy Producers Fairness Act of 1983

Consumers and Dairy Producers Fairness Act of 1983 - Amends the Agricultural Act of 1949, as amended by the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1982, to repeal the 50-cent milk producer assessments.

Reduces FY 1984 milk support prices from $14.00 per hundredweight to $12.50 per hundredweight. Provides for 50-cent price support decreases if Government purchases are in excess of specified levels on October 1, 1984, and October 1, 1985, respectively.

Requires a report by July 1, 1984, on the effect of applying nationally fluid milk standards similar to those in California.
