A bill to amend the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 to permit persons to bring suits under the Act in Federal district courts without regard to whether any proceedings have been commenced by or on behalf of such persons under State law, and for other purposes.

Applies to age discrimination actions brought with respect to Federal Government employment the current stipulation governing nongovernmental actions that a person is entitled to a trial by jury of any issue of fact, regardless of whether equitable relief is also sought.
