Authorizes the Secretary of Energy to accept the transfer of all right, title, and interest in: (1) the former Atomic Energy Commission storage site near the St. Louis Airport in St. Louis, Missouri and the radioactive materials stored there; and (2) the radioactive materials stored at a specified site in Hazelwood, Missouri.
Directs the Secretary of Energy to undertake such remedial action as necessary to protect public health and safety with respect to radioactive materials which are located at such sites.
Prohibits removal of radioactive materials from the Hazelwood site and commencement of remedial action before a final environmental impact statement on such actions is prepared.
