A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to modify the method for determining the amount payable by a Federal employee or Member of Congress in order to receive credit under the civil service retirement system based on certain military service, and to extend by one year the moratorium on the accrual of interest with respect to any such amount payable.

Changes the amount a Federal employee or Member of Congress must pay to receive civil service retirement credit for certain military service. Requires such individuals to pay the same percentage of basic military pay as would have been payable had such pay been provided for civilian service.

Delays by one year the deadline after which such individuals must include interest on such amounts paid to receive retirement credit.
