A bill to amend the Act of August 18, 1970, as amended, to improve the administration of the national park system by the Secretary of the Interior, and for other purposes.

Provides that lands and interests therein within the boundaries of a national park unit shall be acquired in accordance with the legislation which established the park unit, applicable appropriation Acts, and other applicable laws. Requires that administrative jurisdiction over public lands and over lands which exceed the needs of any Federal agency be transferred to the National Park Service without reimbursement or transfer of funds.
