A bill to assist small business, independent inventors, and for other purposes.
Small Business Independent Inventor Patent Fee Assistance Act of 1983 - Exempts independent inventors and nonprofit organizations from payment of patent fees. Prohibits the Commissioner of Patents and Trademarks from adjusting such fees for independent inventors, nonprofit organizations, and small business concerns. (Current law provides for the adjustment of such fees by the Commissioner.)
