A bill to amend title 23, United States Code, to help prevent drunk driving by encouraging States to adopt certain drunk driving laws and programs.
Drunk Driving Prevention Act of 1983 - Prohibits the Secretary of Transportation from approving certain Federal-aid highway projects in any State whose law does not conform to the national drunk driving prevention program established by this Act. Sets forth requirements for State law under such programs.
