A bill to establish a National Commission on Science, Engineering, and Technology Education.
National Commission on Science, Engineering, and Technology Education - Directs the President, in conjunction with the majority leader of the Senate and the Speaker of the House, to establish a National Commission on Science, Engineering, and Technology Education, within 120 days after the effective date of this Act.
Sets forth provisions for the duties, membership, Director and Staff, experts and consultants, and powers of the Commission.
Directs the Commission to transmit to the President and the Congress: (1) a preliminary report within 18 months after the Commission is duly organized; and (2) a final report within 30 months after the Commission is duly organized.
Terminates the Commission six months after the submission of its final report.
