Amends the Bretton Woods Agreements Act to require the Secretary of the Treasury to instruct the U.S. Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund to present proposals to the Fund's Executive Board to ensure that member countries eliminate import restrictions which restrict U.S. exports.
Requires the U.S. Executive Director to vote against the use of Fund resources by a member country which fails to agree to such proposals.
Requires the U.S. Trade Representative, the Secretary of Labor, and the Secretary of Commerce to inform the U.S. Executive Director of all such import restrictions and export subsidies having a serious adverse impact on U.S. exports or employment.
