A bill to amend chapter 34 of title 38, United States Code, to modify the termination date for veterans eligible for educational assistance provided under such chapter.

Permits the use of educational assistance by a veteran beyond the December 31, 1989 delimiting period if such assistance is used within five years of discharge from active service.
