Revises the boundaries of the following specified units of the national park system to include specified Wilderness Study Areas: (1) Death Valley National Monument (California); (2) Pinnacles National Monument (California); (3) Joshua Trees National Monument (California); (4) Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park (California); (5) Lake Mead National Recreation Area (Arizona and Nevada); (6) Dinosaur National Monument (Colorado and Utah); (7) Great Sand Dunes National Monument (Colorado); (8) Zion National Park (Utah); (9) Capitol Reef National Park (Utah); (10) Arches National Park (Utah); (11) Carlsbad Caverns National Park (New Mexico); and (12) Guadalupe Mountains National Park (Texas).
Prohibits Federal acquisition of State or local lands within Wilderness Study Areas, except by donation or exchange, if the Federal purpose is to include such lands within specified park systems.
Directs the Secretary to submit to the Congress a map and description of the lands included in the National Park System units. Directs the Secretary to publish a detailed description of such lands in the Federal Register.
