A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to provide for a single six-year term of office for the President and Vice President, to provide that no Member of the House of Representatives may serve for more than three four-year terms, to provide that no Senator may serve more than two terms, and for other purposes.

Constitutional Amendment - Provides for a six-year term for the offices of President and Vice President and prohibits any person from being elected to such offices more than once.

Declares the term of office of a Representative to be four years.

Precludes eligibility for election to the House of Representatives for more than three terms.

Precludes eligibility for election to the Senate for more than two terms.

Repeals the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution.

Applies this article to elections held after January 1, 2000.
