A joint resolution to provide for the awarding of a gold medal to Elie Wiesel in recognition of his humanitarian efforts and outstanding contributions to world literature and human rights.

Authorizes the President, on behalf of Congress, to present to Elie Wiesel a gold medal in recognition of his humanitarian efforts and outstanding contributions to world literature and human rights.

Authorizes appropriations.

Authorizes the Secretary of the Treasury to provide for the public sale of bronze duplicates of such medal.
