Authorizes the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs from March 1, 1982 through February 28, 1983, to: (1) employ personnel; (2) utilize the services of department or agency personnel on a reimbursable basis; and (3) procurement of consultant services.
Authorizes the Committee to study or investigate: (1) the efficiency and economy of all branches of government, including national security and energy management; (2) the extent to which improper activities take place in the labor-management field; (3) organized crime utilization of interstate and international commerce and the adequacy of Federal and State laws to prevent such operations; (4) civil and criminal disorder; and (5) all other aspects of lawlessness.
