A bill to amend chapter 83 of title 5, United States Code, to provide for annual cost-of-living adjustments to civil service annuities, and for other purposes.

Requires annual (currently semiannual) cost of living adjustments in civil service annuities to be effective March 1.

Requires the first increase in an annuity to equal one-twelfth of the applicable percentage change in the price index multiplied by the number of months the annuity was payable before the effective date of the increase.
