A bill entitled the "Rural Telephone Bank Amendment Act of 1981".
Rural Telephone Bank Amendment Act of 1981 - Amends the Rural Electrification Act of 1936 to require the United States to purchase class A stock to fund the Rural Telephone Bank through 1991 until such stock equals $600,000,000.
Extends the date for such stock to be redeemed and retired by the telephone bank as soon as practicable after September 30, 1995. Eliminates the minimum amount of class A and class B stock which must be issued before class A stock may be retired.
