A bill to amend the Disaster Relief Act of 1974 to increase the aggregate amount of grants which may be made under such Act to any individual or family adversely affected by a major disaster.

Amends the Disaster Relief Act of 1974 to increase from $5,000 to $10,000 the aggregate amount of grants which may be made under such Act to any individual or family adversely affected by a major disaster.

Declares that such increase shall not apply with respect to major disasters declared before June 1, 1982.
