A bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to authorize an alternative to the conventional construction of military family housing within the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.

Permits the Secretary of Defense to lease rather than construct specifically authorized family housing projects within the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.

Requires that the Armed Services Committees be given 30 days notice of any lease in excess of $250,000 annual rental.
