Authorizes the President to present a gold medal, on behalf of the Congress, to each of the sixty-six United States nationals held hostage in Iran and to one appropriate survivor of each of the eight U.S. servicemen killed during the attempted hostage rescue.
Directs the Secretary of the Treasury to strike a gold medal with suitable inscriptions and to coin and sell bronze duplicates of such medals.
Authorizes appropriations.
