Title I: Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program - Amends the Earthquake Hazards Reduction Act of 1977 to authorize appropriations through FY 1983 for earthquake hazards reduction programs of the U.S. Geological Survey, the National Science Foundation, the National Bureau of Standards, and for required adjustments in salaries and benefits as set forth in such Act.
Title II: Multihazard Research, Planning, and Mitigation - Authorizes appropriations for FY 1983 for multihazard research, planning, and mitigation, including a specified sum for earthquake prepardedness in California.
