A bill to amend title 18 of the United States Code to revise and improve the laws controlling false identification crimes.
False Identification Crime Control Act of 1981 - Amends the Federal criminal code to establish penalties for using or supplying false documentation for purposes of obtaining a Federal document containing an element of identification.
Forbids commerce in such information, documentation, or official documents for purposes of securing a State or local government document containing an element of identification.
Proscribes specified acts relative to: (1) forgery, counterfeiting, or alteration of a Federal, State, or local government document containing an element of identification; (2) interstate or foreign commerce in any such counterfeited, forged, or altered document; and (3) receipt, possession, use, or furnishing of any such document with intent to secure false official identification.
