Provides that a subordination of specified mineral interests of the Osage Tribe of Indians shall vest in the United States immediately upon payment of $7,400,000 by the Secretary of the Army to the Secretary of the Interior.
Specifies that such sum was agreed upon as compensation to the Osage Tribe for the acquisition of such subordination for the construction of works relating to Skiatook Lake , as part of a project for the improvement of the Verdigris River and tributaries in Oklahoma and Kansas under the Flood Control Act of 1962.
Directs the Secretary of the Army to make such payment. Authorizes the Secretary of the Army to acquire such subordination.
Directs the Secretary of the Interior to disburse such payment to the Osage Tribe. Provides that payments to the Osage Tribe under this Act shall not be subject to attorney fees.
